Piazza Don Tonino Bello is the main square of Alessano that owes its name to an illustrious person, a native of the town, bishop of Molfetta and appreciated for his humble and unique character. The square is majestic and welcoming, and leads to the first alleys of the old town full of ancient palaces and historic churches.
