Sassinoro is a charming village of about five hundred inhabitants located in the Matese National Park, in the province of Benevento, on the border between Campania and Molise. Sassinoro is only an hour away from Naples and the Amalfi Coast, tourist destinations of the Tyrrhenian Sea among the most beautiful in Italy. This village is also an hour from Termoli, a crossroads for the Tremiti islands and the beauty of the Adriatic coast. Well connected by a fast road to Benevento which is 40 km away and Campobasso which is 35 km away. Its ancient houses, perched on a hill and dominated by the seventeenth-century Parish Church, dominate the Morcone plain where the Tammaro river with its clear water forms the artificial reservoir of Campolattaro. All around the town, there are verdant oak forests that, between beautiful and unspoiled landscapes, arrive till the ski resort of Campitello Matese up to the summit of Monte Miletto (2050 m). The largest surrounding villages: Morcone just 5 km away and Sepino (Campobasso) are situated in a completely rural landscape, characterized by typical agricultural products (cheeses, mozzarella and cold cuts). Sassinoro is about 15/20 km from  Guardia Sanframondi and Solopaca, which produce fine and renowned wines on the rolling hills of Benevento: from full-bodied red "Aglianico"; to white velvety "Falanghina". Even closer to Sassinoro we find Casalduni, S. Lupo, Pontelandolfo and S. Lorenzello that produce olive oil of exceptional quality. The people, simple and friendly, gather in Piazza IV Novembre, a landmark for the life of the whole village. In this square where there are two minimarkets, a bar, a tobacconist and the post office, is located the property that we propose.
